During my recent stay at Hotel Nireus in Nea Makri, the blend of nostalgia and practicality stood out. The hotel, with its 1955 charm, offers proximity to the beach and numerous restaurants-ideal for evening strolls. The family room, although basic, was kept clean with daily housekeeping and fresh linens, which added to the comfort. While the amenities like Wi-Fi were inconsistent and the shower underwhelming, the value is evident given the beach access and the warm, accommodating staff who facilitated our late arrival. With plenty of sun loungers by the seasonal outdoor pool, this hotel provides a relaxed atmosphere without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers seeking a cozy base while balancing luxury with financial wisdom, Hotel Nireus presents itself as a solid choice, especially for exploring the rich culture and beauty of Greece.
